New:

  • When "manage employee" is clicked and new is clicked, the employee details page is opened.

  • The creation of new employee includes the following fields:

    Title: The title of the Employee has to be entered in this field.This is a optinal field. First Name: The First Name of the Employee has to be entered in this field. This is a mandatory field. Middle Name: The Middle Name of the Employee has to be entered in this field. Last Name: The Last Name of the Employee has to be entered in this field. This is a mandatory field. Email: The personal email of the employee has to be entered in this field.This is a mandatory field and unique. BU Name: The BU Name has to be chosen from the dropdown list shown in the field. This is a mandatory field. Location: The Location is automatically displayed when a BU is selected. This is a mandatory field. Department: The Department Name has to be chosen from the dropdown list shown in the field. This is a mandatory field. Discipline: The Discipline Name has to be chosen from the dropdown list shown in the field. This is a mandatory field. Employee Id: The ID of the employee is to be entered in this field. This is a unique data. This is a mandatory field. Employee type: The Employee Type has to be chosen from the dropdown list shown in the field. This is a mandatory field.

    Worktype: The Work type has to be entered in this field. This is a optinal field.

    Contract Company Name: The name of the Contract Company is to be entered in this field.This is a optinal field.

    Manager: The name of the manager is to be entered in this field. This is a optinal field.

    Competency: The competency of the employee has to be entered in this field. This is a optinal field.

    Date of Joining: The Joining Date of the employee has to be entered in this field. The date can be chosen from the calendar attached. This is a mandatory field. End Date: The end date of the employee has to be entered here. This is an optional field. The end date cannot be less than the start date.(For contract employees it is mandaory filed) Working hours per week Employee ID: The total working hours per employee has to be entered in this field. This is a mandatory field. Remarks: Remarks, if any has to be entered in this field. This is an optional field.

  • After entering the details and clicking save, the details are saved in the employee grid in the view page.

  • After saving, a pop up is displayed about the successful creation of new employee.

Upload:

  • When upload is clicked, a new screen is opened where files can be uploaded.

  • When an excel file with required format is dragged and dropped, upload button has to be clicked.

  • A success message is shown after successful uploading of the sheet.

  • The sample template shows the format of files to be uploaded.

  • In order to download the uploaded sheet, the file name in the grid has to be clicked.

Edit:

  • Existing Employees can be updated here by using the edit Employee button.

  • It navigates to the edit Employee page.

  • When the name of Employee and details are entered and update is clicked, the data gets updated in the grid.

  • After updating, employee details updated successfully message is shown.

Delete:

  • The existing Employees can be deleted using the delete button.

  • When delete is clicked, a pop up screen is displayed, which asks if the data has to be completely deleted or not.

  • When yes is clicked, the selected data in the grid gets disappeared.

  • When no is clicked, no action is performed.

Search:

  • If any data has to be searched, this tab is used.

  • When details are entered in fields and search is clicked, the required results are displayed.

Reset:

  • The data entered in the search tabs, gets reset when reset is clicked.
