Delete Department

Create Department:

  • Under manage departments section, new Departments can be created here by using the new Department button.

  • This navigates to the create department screen.

  • The create department screen has fields as below:

  • BU Name: BU Name should automatically come from the BUs which are already created.

  • Department Name: This is a mandatory field should be unique for same BU , We can use same department for differnt BU's.

  • Department Code: This is a mandatory field

  • After entering the discipline and choosing employee percentages, add has to be clicked. The disciplines in add discipline section should have the data of already created disciplines.

  • These disciplines can be edited using the edit icon.

  • After editing, the update button is to be clicked.

  • After all details entered are correct, save is clicked.

  • When save is clicked, the department saved successfully message is shown and the new department created is added to the grid in view page.

Update Department

  • Existing Department can be updated here by using the edit department button.

  • It navigates to the edit department page.

  • When the name of department and details are entered and update is clicked, the data gets updated in the grid and a successful update message is shown.

Delete Department:

  • The existing Departments can be deleted using the delete button.

  • When delete is clicked, a pop up screen is displayed, which asks if the data has to be completely deleted or not.

  • When yes is clicked, the selected data in the grid gets disappeared.

  • When no is clicked, no action is performed.
