In this page, Project Categories can be created, updated and deleted.

Create a new Project Category:

  • Under the manage project categories, user can click the "New Project Category" to create a new category.

  • When a user clicks on the button it is navigated to the create project category screen.

  • The project category screen has fields as below: Project Category Name: This is a mandatory fields and should be unique

  • Project Category is used while creating in Business Units and Project templates. Project Category Description: This field is used to describe the Project Category. This is an optional field.

  • When user clicks on save button, the pop up "Project Category Created Successfully" will be displayed and the new project category is added to the list on the view page.

Editing and Updating the Existing Project Category :

  • Existing Project Categories can be modified using the Edit(Pen Icon) button in the actions panel.

  • It navigates to the update project category page.

  • Users can update Project Category,description by clicking on the update button , the updateed data is shown in the list and a message is notified about a successful update.

Deleting the Project Category:

  • The existing Project categories can be deleted using the delete button.

  • When the delete icon is clicked, a pop up screen is displayed, which asks if the data has to be completely deleted or not.

  • When yes is clicked, data is disabled in the list .

  • When no is clicked, no action is performed.
