The projects screen consists of Pie charts and Bar graph which depict the Projects Summary, Projects health Summary, Project category summary and project segment summary. Along with these charts, a manage projects button is also present here.

Projects Summary: This pie chart shows the status of all the existing projects.

Projects health summary: This pie chart shows the health of all the existing projects.

Project category summary: This bar graph shows the number of projects within a particular project categories.

Project segment summary: This pie chart shows the number of projects in the particular project segment.

Manage Projects: By clicking on "Manage Project", a new screen is displayed where user can create, search and reset project actions.

New:

  • When new project is clicked, the create project screen is opened.

  • While creating new projects, the following fields need to be filled. Project Name: This is a unique input. It represents the name of the project. Project Code: This is a unique input. It represents the code of the project. Project Segment: The project segment should be choosen from the available segments. The available segments are sustain, forecast, internal, backlog, R&D and other. Project Category: The Project Categories created earlier are shown in this dropdown list. They can be selected from this list. Manager email: This is unique field. The email of the manager is entered here. It is a mandatory field. Start Date: The start date of the project has to be entered here. It is a mandatory field. End Date: The end date of the project has to be entered here. It should not be less than start date. It is a mandatory field.

  • Milestone name, start date and end date has to be entered to create milestones.

  • To add more milestones, add milestones has to be clicked.

  • Milestones can be deleted using the delete button present there.

  • When next is clicked, manage locations is displayed on the screen.

  • After clicking manage locations, the required Business Units and Disciplines have to be selected.

  • After selecting them, add should be clicked to add them to the project.

  • Enter the budget hours by location, and then click save and allocate button followed by the save and approve button.

  • A Project created successfully toaster message is displayed, showing the allocated hours and demand screen. The new projects are shown in the grid.

Actions:

  • When Actions is clicked, the consumpted hours are shown.

  • They show the demand, variance and consumpted hours in the given project. Fill with demand button is used to fill the fields with demand value.

Edit:

  • Existing Projects can be updated here by clicking the required project.

  • It navigates to the edit Project page.

  • When the name of Project and details are entered and update is clicked, the data gets updated in the grid.

Search

  • If any data has to be searched, this tab is used. Any of the field can be used to search the existing projects.

  • This displays the required results.

Reset

  • . The data entered in the search tabs, gets reset when reset is clicked.
